Stellar Vision House welcomes considered pitches about astronomy, observing the sky and the cultural histories attached to it. We are interested in pieces that give a curious reader one clear subject to follow, without assuming specialist gear or knowledge.

What to pitch

Propose an original, self-contained article about a skywatching habit, a familiar celestial sight, a seasonal change, a star pattern or a well-defined strand of sky lore. We particularly value subjects that remain useful over time and can be explained without unsafe activity or specialist access.

What makes a strong proposal

Tell us the working idea, the question the piece answers, its main point and why a general reader would care. Name the intended category and mention any important sources or limits. Keep the pitch focused; a list of broad subjects is harder to assess than one distinct article idea.
